What you can expect from a lesson with Simon

1. Discovery

Each time you meet Simon for a lesson he will listen to your playing and practice experiences to ensure your time focuses on the most important parts of your game. With your best interests in mind your goals become the agenda for the lesson.

2. Clear assessment

With some warm up shots under your belt, its time to take some video clips and collect club and ball-flight data from a GC Quad launch monitor. For regular clients it’s important to see the comparison to previous lessons and note the progress you have made towards your goals.

3. Find your best technique

Coaching is “Teaching people how to play better golf, not teaching golf to people”, and this personalised approach is the reason Simon is creative and not constricted to coaching a method.

A “one size fits all” approach will not help every player so every new client Simon coaches will benefit from his process of measurement and motion tests to find the best set up position and swing shape for them. This process always accelerates the improvement and often uncovers issues with ball-striking and even injury!

4. "Introducing" your improved technique

Simon will always make a clear description, demonstration, and guide you into the movement pattern that will improve your skills. It’s his intention to provide you with enough information to take you to the next level of success whilst keeping an eye on your future goals – this means you are never confused in Simon’s lessons and stay on track with your progress.

5. Take your game to the course – from the practice tee to the 1st tee

This journey is often described as “the longest walk in Golf.” Having learnt your technique on the practice ground, Simon’s on course coaching will help you focus on the best shot selection, mental skills and course management decisions to lower your scores.
